La crise économique actuelle a montré les limites de l’économie dominante, ses recettes ne faisant qu’enfoncer les pays pauvres dans plus de pauvreté, en attendant d’appauvrir les pays riches.
Prix Gunnar Myrdal 2008 de la meilleure monographie en évolution de l’économie politique, ce livre prophétique est paru en 2007 à Londres, quelques mois avant la crise alimentaire en Afrique, deux ans avant la crise économique mondiale.
